Review: Turner’s Seafood Salem

Review: Turner’s Seafood Salem

I recently went with the family to Turner’s Seafood in Salem, MA. I was blow away by this restaurant. Everything about this establishment was spot on.

First, the clam chowder was very good. It came with the little plastic bag of crackers which is mandatory in my opinion. It’s not the best calm chowder I’ve ever had, but it is definitely good and worth getting. Take it from me, I’m kind of a chowder snob. The sangria was also decent. My wife makes an amazing sangria, so I’m biased in this area.

The shrimp scampi was amazing! The best I have ever had. I recommend you get this. The English Pub Style Fish ‘n Chips were delicious and the portions… insane! For dessert, we split the chocolate lava cake, the key lime pie and the creme brulee and they were perfect in execution as well.

The ambience is on point. I would describe it as “Upscale New England.” It’s perfect for a special occasion with family or friends.
